With the development of science the branches of pharmacology are increasing. The most common branches are -1. Pharmacology : Its is a branch of pharmacology which deals with source, identification, isolation, purification and standardization of drugs.
2. Pharmacy : Its is a branch of pharmacology which deals with preparation,quality control and dispensing of drugs.
3. Pharmacodynamics : Deals with biochemical and physiological activity of drugs.
4. Pharmacokinetics : deals with routes of administration,absorption,distribution,metabolism and excretion of drug.
5. Pharmacotherapeutics : Deals with the application of drugs for diagnosis,prevention and treatment of disease.
6. Posology : Deals with different doses amount of drug that administrated of drug.
7.Toxicology : With poisoning drugs,their effects and management of poisoning.
8. Clinical Pharmacology : Deals with the pharmacological effects of drug,in human body.
9. Pharmacoeconomics : Deals with the costing of drug.
10. Pharmacoepidemiology : Deals with the study of beneficial and harmful effects of drug on a community.
